The actress currently lives in New York City. Chando started her acting profession at Manhattan College. Chando played the character of Maddie Coleman in the TV soap opera As The World Turns from 2005-2007 and for a couple of months starting late 2009, she reprised the role. Alexandra first made her debut acting in 2002, when she was cast as Jenna Harper on the TV Series House Blend. As the World Turns on CBS was her debut TV role after three years. Chando appeared on the American documentaries on TV True life in 2009. She was also a part of Sherri. Moreover, she starred in two episodes of the American comedy-drama television series Glory Daze as Annabelle. Her other television credits include Castle, Hindsight Dead People as well as Outcast.
